How to Volunteer
WE WELCOME NEW RILEY FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS!
The Riley Festival has many opportunities to volunteer in our
organization. This is a festival organized by a volunteer board with
many areas to be staffed by volunteer time, energy, talents and skills.
The areas of the festival are craft, food, non-profit, commercial, and
flea market streets; fine arts, home arts/quilt, photography, and poster
shows; queen pageant, parade, pumpkin decorating and poetry events.
Volunteers are needed and welcomed to assist in many ways. Many events
need hosts and hostesses during the festival hours.
A volunteer orientation meeting is held for persons to become acquainted
with festival rules and regulations. Four volunteer chairmen meetings
prepare events with the General Chairman and hear the latest board
plans. Volunteers are asked to be present during the festival all days
if possible. Most of our volunteers have been with us for five or more
years. RILEY FESTIVAL IS FUN!
